Chamber Annual Meeting This Week

The Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce will host its 2008 Annual Meeting on Thursday, January 24, 2008, from 12 noon-1:30 p.m. in the Regency Ballroom of the Ramada, 420 SE 6 th.

The event is expected to attract a capacity crowd of nearly 700 Chamber members and their guests.

Rebecca Ryan of Next Generation Consulting, Madison, WI, will be the keynote speaker talking about how to attract and retain young professionals to a company and to a community.  (www.nextgenerationconsulting.com)

Passing of the gavel from Jim Parrish, Parrish Hotel Corporation, to Carl Koupal, Community National Bank, will also take place. 

Mitch Miller of Dynamic Computer Solutions will also announce the winner of the Small Business Extreme Upgrade Contest.

Kansas Senator Laura Kelly will serve as master of ceremonies for the event.  Congresswoman Nancy Boyda is expected to attend, along with other elected officials and business leaders.
