>HPT WELCOMES THE RETURN OF AMA FLAT TRACK RACING
AMA Grand National Championship motorcycle racing is set to return to Heartland Park Topeka and tickets are on sale now for the entire family! AMA Pro racing will be back on the dirt track for the first time since 2000 when they competed on the temporary “hairpin” track that has since been replaced by the permanent 3/8 mile banked oval.
Dating to pre-World War II years, Flat Track is a uniquely American form of motorcycle racing. Riders push their machines to the limits while twisting and turning only inches apart while reaching speeds over 100 mph. Flat Track racing provides some of the closest finishes in motorcycle racing and you won’t want to miss the excitement!
Heartland Park Topeka will host the AMA Pro Racing Grand National Championship Flat Track series on July 4th and the series finale on October 4th.
Advanced ticket sales for both events are now available for $20 and can be purchased by calling 1-800-43-RACES or by logging on to www.hpt.com.
Heartland Park Topeka, a multi-purpose racing facility located in Topeka, Kan. annually hosts NHRA POWERade drag racing, the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), and many other pro and amateur drag racing, road racing, and dirt racing events throughout the race season. |
