2008 Homeshow - Dreamy Doghouses
To celebrate Topeka’s terrific community spirit, the Topeka Home Builders
Association has added a fun display of 10 “dreamy doghouses” leading up to their 2008
Home Show, Feb. 29 – March 2. Attendees at the 2008 THBA Home Show will have
the opportunity to register to win their favorite “dreamy doghouse” and make
donations, which will be given to Habitat for Humanity and Helping Hands Humane
Society.
Beginning Feb. 1, these homes for the furry and fabulous will be on display for
viewing at the following local businesses: Fairlawn Plaza, Gardner’s Flooring America,
Community National Bank (SW 29th St.), Capitol Federal Savings Bank (Kansas
Ave.), Dillons North, Custom Wood Products, Inc., Home Depot, Long Lighting
Studio and Laird Noller Ford.
Dreamy doghouses have been built and donated by: Billau Constructors, Mark
Boling Construction, Custom Wood Products, Kent & Company, Kerns Construction,
Lower Heating & A/C, PDQ Construction, Pella Windows and Doors Overhead
Door, Rick Grose construction, THBA Women’s Council and Wildwoods.
“New and innovative ideas available from THBA members will be the heart of
the annual show. Approximately 10,000 visitors attended last year’s show which
featured 125 display booths. Encouraged by last year’s attendance, we’ve added new
exhibitor space to make this the largest show ever,” said Dawn Wright, President of
Topeka Home Builders Association.
New house, new addition, new carpet, new cabinets, new light fixtures! Ideas
for all this and more will be part of the three-day, new & improved THBA Home
Show Feb. 29 – March 2 at the Kansas ExpoCentre.
