AFP-Kansas to release Commonsense Budget Proposal
Americans for Prosperity-Kansas will this week release its model state budget to legislators and to the media. AFP-Kansas state director Alan Cobb and Steve Anderson, CPA, will provide details about the document. Anderson is managing partner of the Edmond, Okla., office of accounting firm Anderson, Reichert & Anderson LLC, and is a Research Fellow for the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs.
Reporters are invited to a Statehouse news conference Tuesday to learn details about the AFP Commonsense Budget Proposal, which allows for a 3.5 percent increase in the state general fund budget for FY 2009.
