His work has been collected by the Beijing artists association, Canadian society of painters and watercolor, Sprint Corporation art collection in Overland Park, KS as well as many private collectors from Hong Kong, Singapore, Britain, Canada and the United States.  Art for Kids will be held Saturday, November 10, 5-7 p.m. at the Bradbury Thompson Center on the Washburn University campus.
Ticket holders receive a signed and numbered print of a specially created Yeqiang Wang watercolor painting “Pretty in Pink,” a watercolor on paper painting of a still life.  Ticket holders also will be entered in a drawing for one of a number of pieces of art donated by local artists. This year’s event will feature a student art display, entertainment by the Topeka High Jazz Combo, hors d’oeuvres and KMAJ radio personalities Hooker & Gallagher.  Each ticket entitles two people to attend the event. Tickets are on sale for $70 at the Topeka Public Schools Burnett Administrative Center at 624 SW 24th Street or by calling 295-3018.
Many local companies provide financial or in-kind support for “Art for Kids.” This year’s lead corporate sponsor is Security Benefit.  Jostens Printing and Publishing, Framewoods and Kull Auctions are also longtime returning supporters of “Art for Kids” 2007. The artists of the Topeka Art Guild Gallery help to provide artwork for the fundraiser as do a number of other talented artists. Also contributing to the event’s success is PaintAmerica. Funds raised will support an artist in residence program for area middle and high school students.
The Topeka School Fund is a not-for-profit foundation managed by a community board of volunteers. Since its organization in 1986, the Fund has raised more than $700,000 for children in Topeka schools.
