Visit Topeka Inc. to host 4th Annual Meeting Planner Showcase, November 7

Visit Topeka Inc. will host the 4th Annual Meeting Planner Showcase from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., November 7 in the Ramada Regency Ballroom. This annual event showcases Topeka as an affordable and friendly meeting destination. The Meeting Planner Showcase features a “one-stop-shopping” approach, everything that an event planner needs to host a successful event can be found in one location. 

“Event planners will have the opportunity to meet with the exhibitors and discover how everyone can work together to produce a successful convention, meeting, sporting event, or family reunion,” said Adrianne Meyer, sales coordinator for Visit Topeka Inc.  Exhibitors will include hotels, alternative meeting venues, caterers, attractions, entertainment specialists, transportation companies, and more. 

“The Meeting Planner Showcase was well worth my time.  I met a variety of quality vendors that I am anxious to use next year,” said past attendee Mauri Ann Domer, Kansas Farm Bureau Legislative Office.

The 2007 Meeting Planner Showcase is open to the public, and features free admission and parking.  Food samples from the city’s finest caterers will be provided, along with door prizes and give-aways throughout the day for participating event planners.
