Americans for Prosperity-Kansas chapter continues to grow, adds two new staff members to boost membership
New field directors will help organize local chapters, provide support to existing groups
The grassroots group Americans for Prosperity (AFP) increases its Kansas staff by adding Jim Mullins, Lawrence, as field director for the eastern half of the state and Rodger Woods, Wichita, as his counterpart in the western portion of Kansas.
Mullins has operated his own business for 25 years, and has been involved in Kansas politics for many years. Woods has experience as a private practice attorney and has worked on several statewide political campaigns.
Mullins and Woods will organize new AFP chapters across the state of Kansas. They will also assist existing chapters, to help them achieve an even greater impact on local and state fiscal policies.
“Americans for Prosperity continues to grow across the Sunflower State,” said AFP-Kansas state director Alan Cobb. “With 10,000 members in Kansas alone, we need the skills of Jim and Rodger to assist our grassroots activists in organizing and communicating our issues effectively with state and local government leaders.”
Residents of western Kansas who want to learn more about AFP, or about forming a local chapter, can contact Rodger Woods at rwoods@afphq.org or (316) 269-4174. In eastern Kansas, contact Jim Mullins at jmullins@afphq.org or (785) 842-3269.
