Women's Charity Shoot

Ravenwood Lodge in Topeka, Kansas will be hosting the 16th Annual Kansas Women’s Charity Shoot and Couples’ Fun Shoot.  The proceeds from this event will be used to encourage, educate and mentor women’s responsible participation in the recreational shooting and hunting sports while benefiting the Shriners Hospitals for Children. 

Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of pediatric specialty hospitals where children under the age of 18 receive excellent medical care absolutely free of charge. There are 18 orthopaedic Shriners Hospitals, three Shriners Hospitals dedicated to treating children with severe burns, and one Shriners Hospital that provides orthopaedic, burn and spinal cord injury care.

• The Women’s Charity Shoot event will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008, from           9:00-11:00 a.m. and women shooters will be furnished with shells, shooting, lunch,     goody bags, and prizes. Cost is $60. Shooters must be on course by 11:00 a.m.

• There will be two Women’s Shooting Clinics held before the June 7th Women’s Charity Shoot event. The first will be scheduled Sunday, April 27, 2008, 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Cost is $8 and women shooters will be provided with shells, shooting instructions
and snacks.

• The second Women’s Shooting Clinic will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008,             9:00-11:00 a.m. and women shooters will be provided with shells, shooting            instructions and lunch, cost $8.

• A Couples’ Fun Shoot will be held Sunday, June 8, 2008, 9:00-11:00 a.m. and includes lunch, shooting, and prizes. Cost is $70 per couple.
